Time: 36'36"

Distance: about 6 k

Today was one of the mornings as I really love them. Bavarian sky (blue and white) and wind. To be frank, it was really windy. Yesterday a great storm crossed Germany and it seems that it did not leave yet. Last night driving home from work I heard that the storm threw over a truck and a few minutes later put it back up. It seems it had a lot of fun.

Distance: about 8k

time: 51'49"

After business I went back out to the same spot I found last week, near the city of Ravensburg in south Germany. The nice hills, forest and tiny villages give me a lot of please running. I planned for about 40 minutes and decided to run around the forest that was to my right. Unfortunately the woods were larger than expected and due to my ignorance of the area I ended up with 50 minutes. To find back to my car I had to run offroad (which I love best anyway).

Hurray, it's raining. For so many days we were waiting for some rain. Even though it is nice with all the sun the flowers need the rain badly to bloom and blossom.

To be frank, I enjoyed the rain as well. Therefore i started out right this morning with a nice slow jog.

flying

Saturday, April 29

time: 1:10'49"

distance: -

Today I was heading out for my first real long run for a long time. I know, that for many of you this is not considered a long run but for my status of training it definitely is.

I was planing to run for about 50 to 60 minutes but ended up running 1:10! O my God I was quite toasted after that. But don't worry, I still did enjoy it. Especially the middle part. Most likely I ran too fast but what could I do? I was flying :-)

In Runner's World "the ultimate get-going guide" article, I mentioned earlier on this blog, the propose using a mantra, a word or words that inspire you to keep on running. When I read the article spontaneously the word fly came in my mind.

I tested this mantra today and wow I ran so fast and most important it gave a lot of joy!
